This extensive undertaking has transformed a dated home into a modern oasis of comfort and convenience.

Initially, the home posed several challenges with its laundry set in the kitchen, cramped attic and basement stair access, and inefficient storage spaces. However, with meticulous planning and expert craftsmanship, we turned these obstacles into opportunities for improvement.

One of the most significant changes involved the installation of an elevator by a reputable company from Pittsburgh. This required removing both the attic and basement stairs and creating space for the elevator shaft. The once cluttered bathroom was reimagined, with walls removed to make room for a spacious upstairs laundry area and convenient elevator access to the basement level. The bathroom itself received a stunning facelift, complete with new flooring, cabinets, countertops, and a luxurious walk-in tub with a tile surround and shower capabilities.

In the kitchen, we made strategic alterations to optimize functionality and flow. By enclosing the doorway to the basement and removing the laundry connections, we created a seamless space perfect for culinary pursuits. Seven layers of flooring were painstakingly removed to ensure a smooth, even surface while relocating the refrigerator and wall oven opened up sightlines and maximized countertop space. The custom-stained cabinets, brimming with clever pullouts and modern features, were handpicked by the homeowner to perfectly suit their taste and needs. Completing the look is a stunning off-white 3×6 beveled tile backsplash, adding a touch of timeless elegance to the space.
